Ghanaian forward Braydon Manu has opened his goalscoring account for PEC Zwolle after sealing a move to the club this summer.
Manu was involved when his outfit succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Italian Serie newcomers Venezia on Sunday.
The German-born Ghanaian scored the consolation goal for the Dutch outfit as they end the preseason with a defeat.
Manu shot his outfit into the lead after just two minutes before Christian Gytkjær pulled parity for the Italian club. Both teams went to the halftime break with a goal apiece.
Venezia left it late to snatch victory over PEC Zwolle at the MAC³PARK Stadion following an impressive performance after recess.
Nicholas Pierini fired home the match-winner for Serie A outfit, five minutes to full time.
Manu joined Zwolle in the summer transfer window after his contract with Germany outfit SV Darmstadt ended at the end of June.
He is expected to play a key role at the Dutch club in the upcoming season and could make his debut in the league opener against FC Utrecht.
